Lanzara town house

The villa, privately owned, dates from the end of the 18th century. On two storeys, following refurbishments its appearance, both externally and in its furnishings, is in fact 19th century. Noteworthy features are a Neogothic tower above the wide terrace and a Swiss-style chalet. The park is one of the finest specimens in Campania of a jardin ŕ l’anglaise, based on the one in the Royal Palace at Caserta. One of the camellia bushes is about 170 years old.
